We drove up to Spanish Fork towing a Uhaul trailer full of our items that Cassie and Brad wanted from our house. We had them look for a camping spot for us to park our motor home in. Cassie had a hard time finding one close by that could handle a 40 foot motor home. She found one called Canyon View RV Park. When I looked it up on the Internet, I found a review from someone who called it a parking lot, good for overnight stays only. He said that he could not get his 40 foot motor home in a spot without sticking out in the parking lot by 10 feet.
Once we got to Cassie's, we left the motor home parked on their street and drove over to the campground in our car to check it out. The review was right, it was an asphalt parking lot, but it did have power, water and a beautiful view of snow capped mountains, and it was close to the house. We went back and got the motor home and set up camp. When we walked down the trail we found the true hidden beauty of this place!
The lake at the park.
One of the mountains in our view at sunset.
A beaver sunning itself on a rock near our camp.
