Natchez Trace Tennessee

We are now in Natchez Trace Wilderness Preserve in Hohenwald, Tennessee.  It is very pretty here.  Lots of trees which are just starting to turn colors.  Weather here is a trip.  Second day after we got here it was 102 degrees.  Three days later a front comes in and we get two inches of rain and temps in the 50s but for the most part the weather has been very nice.

We went into Nashville for the National Folk Festival.  Nashville will host it for the next three years.  There were performers from all over the world.  Although it was over a hundred degrees there, it was a cool thing to attend.  (Get it?)

The following week we traveled to Nashville again to visit the city.  What a fun city.  As you walk down one of the main streets, every other building is a bar or night club with live music coming from them.  The amount of talent in this town is amazing.

This has been a very special place.  We have really enjoyed this part of Tennessee.  It has so much natural beauty to offer.  We will truly miss this area and will definitely be back one day.  Now it on to the Memphis area of Tennessee.
