Western FMCA Rally in Indio, California

Every other year we attend the Western Family Motor Coach Association Rally in Indio California.  This time we went in with the California Coasters and parked on pavement, a nice improvement from past years where we parked on grass or dirt.  It was also a blessing when the 40MPH wind came blasting through the rally on Thursday causing the parade to be postponed.  Carol and I volunteered to drive the 8 passenger trams for the rally this year.  We worked a three hour shift on Tuesday and a four hour shift on Saturday.  It is a great way to interact with the people there and was a lot of fun!  Here are some pictures of the Rally.

This is during the wind storm on Thursday.  We had to pull down all of the  shade structures.

Saturday was a beautiful day for a parade!  Carol and I drove the vehicle that towed the floats.

  1. How fun. Go ahead and head back to Utah as soon as you are ready. Carter has been asking daily when you are coming back. He says you have been gone too long.
