Salt Lake Temple Trip and Lunchen

Like last year, we were treated to a session at the Salt Lake Temple and then Lunch at the Joseph Smith Building.

What an amazing Temple.  It took forty years to build by hand.  I am willing to bet that with today's technology, if it were built today it could not have been built any better.  Maybe a lot faster, but not better!

 The beautiful Temple grounds.

We were told that the planters are heated to protect the plants from the cold nights.
Cut away model of the Temple in the visitors center.
Shows each section of the Temple.
 Inside the Joseph Smith Building.

Our table for lunch.

  1. You'll have to teach us the black bag games. Maybe at the duck pond while the kids are content with Carter chasing the ducks and Emery in the swing. How blessed we feel to have you near by and on this mission.
