Every new day is a Gift from God and can not be returned or exchanged for another one. You have to make the best out of each and every day. That being said that is exactly what we have done here in Colorado for the last few days. Both Carol and I have been recovering from a very bad cold and eye infections. It has been cold and rainy since we got here but we still took advantage of the area activities. We took the Durango-Silverton Scenic Train ride up and back. This has been something we have always wanted to do. Even though it was chilly and raining, it was a wonderful experience for us.

The train followed along side of the
Animas River all the way up the canyon to Silverton.

As you can read on the bottom we were at almost 10,000 feet.
We ate lunch at this restaurant that specialized in brick oven pizzas. It was very good.
Here a master musician demonstrates his talents in playing one of the many musical instruments here.
And here his lovely talented wife does the same.
