The Road Trip

After Glacier National Park we hoped to visit Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming.  As we traveled along our route to get there we stopped in a Walmart in Butte, Montana for the night.  We had been hitting rain on and off through out the drive.  That night the brunt of the storm hit us and dumped more rain in a short period then I have ever seen.  There were flash flood advisories and I could see why.  The next day we called up and canceled our reservations for Yellowstone and continued on for South Dakota. This form of stiopping for one or two nights along the road without any type of hook-up ammenties is called Boon-docking.

This was the Walmart in Billings Montana.  We had a great sunset.

We were also able to visit the Billings Montana Temple.

Billings Montana Temple
Their temple has bus parking on grounds that we were able to use.  They have a very nice Temple. It was built during the end of the large Temples and the start of the small Temples so it has some of both of the designs inside.  Very unique.  One of our favorite temples so far.
