On our way to Yellowstone National Park, we ended one of our travel days at Cody, Wyoming. We were heading for the local Walmart to spend the night. As we traveled through Cody, we noticed the Buffalo Bill Historical Center. We saw a sign for RV parking and followed it into their lot. We decided to spend the money to enter the center. It cost us $26.00 for both of us with a discount which was good for two days. Both Carol and I love museums and this has to be one of, if not the best we have ever been to. It is actually five museums in one. Each one is broken into sections, Weapons, Art Work, artifacts, etc. I have been around and seen many weapons if my life, but this place is like no other I have ever seen. They have so many weapons of every sort it would take you days to look at and read about each. They have weapons from the beginning of their use up to modern day. They have displays from every weapon manufacture you could imagine. We spent about 3 hours the first day and came back the next day and spent all day. It was this good. Quite honestly, if you wanted to see everything they had both inside and out in the many gardens, you could easily spend a week or more. We both highly recommend if you ever get anywhere close to Cody, Wyoming, you need to go the museum. You will not be sorry. Here are some pictures I took.
