Life is Good!

What an amazing journey we have been on.  We absolutely love this lifestyle, and are so very blessed to live it. Between being so busy and not having a good Internet signal in the last few campgrounds we have been in the last month or so, we have fallen behind in keeping up with the blog.  In fact, the campground that we are now in we don’t have Internet at all. Our Verizon MiFi does not have coverage in this area so we have to go into town to a hot spot to update the blog.  At any rate, we are going to give you some highlights and pictures of the areas we have been in since Lake Whitney.  In Lake Texoma we had to run for cover from a tornado and seek shelter in a brick restroom along with about 50 people for about two hours until three tornado's skirted around us.  After approximately five weeks after we visited my Uncle Ren in Alamo Texas, he passed away from stage four throat cancer.  He was buried in Wautoma Wisconsin and we were able to be at the funeral.  Here are some of the highlights and pictures since the last posting:

·         Three weeks hanging out with Uncle Ren & Aunt Josie  in Alamo, Texas (including Padre Island)

·         River walk in San Antonio plus missions in the area.

·         Dallas---Daley Plaza where President Kennedy was shot.

·         Texas Ranger Museum in Waco.

·         Oklahoma City bomb site.

·         Precious Moments Chapel in Carthage.

·         George Washington Carver National Park.

·         Silver Dollar City in Branson.

·         Monaco International Rally which included shows, food, friends, and lots of fun.

·         Wilson Creek National Battlefield (Civil War Site).

·         Lots of church history sites in Missouri, Iowa and Nebraska.

·         Mall of the Americas in Minneapolis.

·         Attending Uncle Ren’s funeral service in Wautoma Wisconsin.

·         Lots of fun times with family& friends in Wisconsin; especially Linda and Terry.

This lifestyle is an amazing opportunity we have. Each day we count our blessings, some of which are:

·       God, who leads, guides, and loves & protects us.

• A re-kindling for our Love for each other.

·         Our Love for our Family, and how we cope with the distance of miles between us.

·         Joy of friendships with old and the new.

·         Church and the joys it brings in the many Wards and Branches we have attended.

·         Temples, how they are everywhere and we are able to find the solace in our attendance.

·         Health and the ability we enjoy in hiking or walking so many new areas.

·         America the Beautiful……………….the Land and liberties we love
