ATV Camping Trip at Hardware Ranch

We spent four days camping with some of our friends at Hardware Ranch near Bear Lake.

View of our camp at Hardware Ranch.

View of area near top of Logan Peak.

Taking a break on top of Logan Peak.  About 9,600 feet elevation.
We took a ATV ride on Wednesday to the town of Randolph and had lunch there.
Picture of the inside of the cabin through the window
Unfortunately, the building was closed at the  time we were there.

                                                                           Paper Press

                                          Wilford Woodruff''s cabin home.
Notice that the population from 1896 to 1996 (100 years) grew a whopping 16 residents.

On Thursday, we took a ride and saw the Grizzly Bear Ephraim's Grave and monument.

Carol was into telling the story as depicted in the book about Ephraim.

Here the girls are in front of the monument of Ephraim.  The stone is 9 feet 11 inches tall, the same as Old Ephraim the bear was.

Here is where we took our Lunch Stop.

Never saw a horse being transported this way.
Panorama view of Logan Peak. Notice the smoke from the fire in the background.
