In route to Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico we stopped for the night at the Hidden Valley Ranch RV Resort just outside of Deming New Mexico. This was an actual ranch that they put in about 75 full hook up RV sites on the ranch. It was about 15 miles outside of the town of Deming and the last 6+ miles was a dirt and gravel washboard type road. Not a great road for a motor home. We had to go between 15 and 20 miles per hour. The ranch was loaded with wildlife of all types. They even have reports of seeing Mountain Lyons in the park at times.
Next Stop is Carlsbad New Mexico.
