San Antonio Texas

On our way down to my Uncle Ren's house in Alamo Texas we stayed in a campground at Lake Medina, about 35 miles away from San Antonio.  We went into town and quickly realized that it was spring break in Texas.  What a mess.  People everywhere.  No parking.  Jammed freeways.  We quickly realized that we were waisting our time.  We decided to check out San Antonio on the way back up after spring break.  We stayed at a local campground near the city.  Here are some pictures.

Mission Photos.

Pictures of the campground.

One of the parks on the River Walk north of down town.

The River Walk in Down Town San Antonio.

The River Walk is an amazing project that the city of San Antonio has constructed.  It is one of the most beautiful and well thought out plans we have ever seen.  San Antonio also has a wonderful LDS Temple that is among the most beautiful we have been in yet.  This is definitely one of our favorite cities that has so much to offer.  This is one city that we will return to someday to visit again.

Next stop is Lake Whitney in Whitney Texas.
