We had a picnic lunch here at a picnic table just across from the museum. We had Rocky with us and this dog above came over and ate lunch with us. The motorcycle with the side car is one of the displays inside. They took out a few displays and rode them outside. Although most of the displays are old, they try to keep them in working order.
Carol was in love with this motorcycle. It was an old Indian Motorcycle that even had tassels on the handles.
And of course we are official "Leaf Peepers" now so we had to take in some more beautiful fall colors.
This is Slide Rock. It is part of a state park that is very busy in the summer. The rock is about 60 feet long and dumps you into an 8 foot deep pond.
Still more posts to come, Downtown Asheville, more water falls and of course, the Biltmore Estate and Gardens.

Carter would have loved that museum and leaf peeping too. Sounds like a lot of fun.
